A new version of IUCLID 6 (International Uniform ChemicaL Information Database) has been available from the 26th April 2022 (v6.6.14.3). In addition to a new interface, this update has fixed some bugs, improved some features but also created new ones. All of this has been done with the aim of facilitating the management and editing of data related to your chemical substances, mixtures and/or articles during your regulatory procedures.
But what is IUCLID 6? IUCLID6 is a software developed by ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) in collaboration with OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development). It is a key tool for both regulatory bodies and the chemical industry to capture and make available data on chemicals, in a structured and harmonised way that is useful in particular for the preparation of REACH registration dossiers, SCIP notifications or notifications to poison control centres (PCNs) etc.
